    • The Downtown Core "Expressions in Chalk" street art festival is returning to Talbot Street on the August 1st long weekend (August 4-6). London has been asking for the Chalk Festival to return to the core, the public love to watch good street art be created, you should plan on joining us for this wonderful event. We invite you to prepare your submission to participate in the next exciting chapter of this wonderful three day festival.
      NEW THIS YEAR: There are a total of 30 spots for artists . Artists chosen for the" Open Artist "category (max 20) will be paid $150 for their completed work along with the chance to win prizes. All submissions will be considered for the open category . Artists not selected for the open category but being eligible for youth and student age groups will then be considered for the 10 spaces available in these areas.

  • Submissions to this years Chalk Festival should include:
    1. The image you plan to create at this years festival
    2. A photo of your best work from previous chalk drawings.
    3. Completed artist information form Applications for participation are due Saturday June 30 @5:00 pm

Location

This years location is: Talbot Street between Dundas and King. The street painting festival runs from August 4th to August 6st, 2012.
